The NSF GRFP Preparation Program

Abstract

This project seeks to raise the number of National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Project (NSF GRFP) winners among Pitt's graduate and undergraduate (seniors) populations. We will achieve this by hosting a series of workshops that provide strategies and guidance on application preparation. We will also bring in faculty and advanced graduate students to provide their own insights and expertise to applicants. Finally, we will provide draft review services so that each application is given feedback by scholars in the appropriate field. The seed grant will support this project for the 2020-21 and 2021-2022 academic years.
